HSP III Visiting Writer : Rick Moody

Lighthouse Works invites you to an evening with acclaimed island author Rick Moody on Wednesday, August 19, at The Ordnance. Drinks will be served at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reading and conversation at 5:30 p.m.

Moody will read an excerpt from a forthcoming novel before joining author and Fishers Island Library board member Anna Noyes in conversation. Together, they will discuss his writing, creative process, and the ideas that have shaped his celebrated body of work.

Presented in collaboration with the Fishers Island Library, this event is part of the Harry S. Parker III Visiting Artist Program, which brings distinguished writers and artists to Fishers Island to engage with Lighthouse Works Fellows and the island community.
